Jeni’s Scoop Shops Now Open After Second Listeria Scare
Jeni’s Splendid Ice creams shops around the county reopened at 5 pm on Saturday June 20 following their second Listeria scare. Jeni’s has notified their customers that their menu will be limited at first and that they will be adding more flavors to their menu in the coming weeks. Jeni’s partner, Smith Dairy, is helping to perfect the new flavors that will soon come out. Members of the Columbus Medical News Team were in a Jeni’s scoop shop earlier in the week, and they only had a 5 0r 6 Flavors available to serve. Jeni’s staff told members of our Team that they will be adding more flavors in the near future. No illnesses associated with Jeni’s have been reported as of this date.
