Surgeons At The Ohio State University First To Implant Plastic Meniscus in Knee

According to a press release issued by the The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, surgeons at Ohio State’s Wexner Medical Center implanted a plastic device designed to treat knee pain from damaged cartilage of the knee meniscus. A knee meniscus once injured or torn has limited ability to heal on its own. Central Ohio Teens Face New Tanning Rules

Ohio Governor John Kasich recently signed House Bill 131, which requires an operator or employee of a tanning facility to determine if a customer seeking tanning services is at least 18 years old.  The bill requires parents to be at the tanning facility to sign a consent form each time anyone younger than 18 years old wants to use the tanning beds.
